Joan is a managing associate in the shipping and offshore finance team in Singapore. She has a key focus in PRC leasing and regularly assists on complex multi-jurisdictional loan and sale and leaseback transactions involving top-tier PRC lessors and major banks.

In addition to vessel financing and leasing matters, she is also experienced in related matters involving vessel sale and purchase and vessel and mortgage registrations/deletions in various jurisdictions.

Joan's principal area of practice includes other non-contentious shipping transactions and extends to general banking and finance matters. Joan also contributed to the fourth edition of the leading ship finance industry handbook, Shipping Finance: A Practical Handbook.
