Areas of practice

Shipping & Maritime: the Shipping & Maritime team, headed by our managing partner, Mr Naiyachon is one of the most experienced shipping and maritime practices in Thailand and is also supported by our team of lawyers who have experienced in both contentious and non-contentious covering wet and dry matter e.g. arrest of vessel, hull & cargo, charterparty, collisions, marine insurance, shipbuilding, ship financing, sale & purchase and registration of vessels. The team advises and acts for protection and indemnity clubs, ship owners, charters, logistics and various cargo interests, amongst others.

Dispute resolution and arbitration: the commercial litigation team is one of the firm’s greatest strengths led by our managing partner Mr Naiyachon and partner, Mr Pornnarong. Our commercial dispute resolution team have rich experience in local litigation i.e. commercial dispute, shareholder dispute, real estate dispute, construction dispute, labor dispute, white collar dispute, insurance dispute and bankruptcy & rehabilitation. Corporate, mergers and acquisitions: the corporate practice group led by Mr Aaron and other two partners (namely Mr. Kosol and Mr. Krtittin) consists of experienced legal practitioners dedicated to assisting clients to help sustain and grow their businesses. The firm believes in establishing a close, long-term working relationship of trust with clients, providing them with high quality and commercially sound legal solutions. The firm specializes in foreign direct investment, mergers and acquisitions, transfer of business, and legal due diligence.  Capital market:

Mr. Kosol and Mr. Krittin are the key partners who advised and represented a number of clients related to IPO and regulation of the Stock Exchange of Thailand and SEC matter. Our capital market services include pre and post IPO’s activities such as shareholder restructuring, legal due diligence, conversion to public company, and preparing the filing documents. In addition, we also provide corporate secretarial services to a number of listed companies in Thailand.

Labour and employment: To stay up to date on the latest employment trends and regulations, our team provides legal advice to both local and international clients pertaining to all aspects of Thai labor laws and employment disputes. Our Managing Partner, Mr. Naiyachon Tathong, is a highly recommended lawyer for labor and employment disputes and has represented major companies to act as lead counsel in a number of labor disputes. Our services covering employment agreements, work rules and code of conduct, Anti-Bribery Policy, termination of employment and redundancy, transfer of employment and social security.

Real estate: With volatility in the global economy and the emergence of new real estate investors, the commercial real estate market has become much more competitive. Our real estate and property team consists of only experienced and dedicated professionals, having over 20 years of experience in property and real estate matters. Antitrust and trade competition: Our team has extensive experience in antitrust and trade competition matters. Mr Naiyachon also has experience of advising and representing client for the trade competition cases. Our team and senior counsel have also experiences representing client on Antidumping matter before the Thai Department of the Foreign Trade.

Intellectual property: Ms Pattaravadee is the key person dealing with intellectual property work including local and international trademarks, copyright and patent registration. The team handles all aspects of contentious work covering the entire spectrum of intellectual property rights enforcement. These include civil and criminal proceedings relating to trademark, copyright and patent infringement as well as applying for the necessary injunctions.

Tax and customs: Mr Kosol has more than 30 years’ substantial experience in supervising and handling foreign and Thai clients on a broad range and in all aspects of Thai taxation law, including tax planning for corporate and personal tax structures. His expertise also extends to advising on customs issues and customs disputes concerning the transaction value, customs tariff, smuggling and restricted goods.

Visa & Work Permit: Our Mr Aaron and senior lawyer have rich experience to provide full of visa immigration and work permit services for foreigners, and their family members, who wish to live and/or work in Thailand.
