Position

Commercial partner and head of the franchise group. Undertaking a broad range of commercial work but with a particular emphasis on franchise advice acting for franchisors and franchisees. Advises clients wishing to expand their businesses through franchising both in the UK and internationally as well as franchisees wishing to acquire and sell franchises.

Career

Trained Theodore Goddard (now Addleshaw Goddard); qualified 1993; partner Mundays LLP 2006; joined Stevens & Bolton LLP as partner 2011. Publications of note: contributes to every edition of ‘Franchise World’; regular contributor to: ‘Elite Business Magazine’, ‘Business Franchise Magazine’, ‘Franchisor News’, ‘Franchise Magazine’, contributed chapters to ‘How to Franchise your Business’ book by Clive Sawyer and to the British Franchise Association’s revised code of ethics and represented the European Franchise Federation in a European Parliament workshop on the regulation of franchising .
