Our commitment to inclusivity is not just about ensuring that policies and procedures are in place; we put our commitment into action. Of our staff, 40% work non-standard hours to accommodate their out of work commitments to things such as family care, education or to facilitate easier journeys to and from work. Our celebration of our generational differences is reflected in the age profile of our staff which spreads from early twenties to mid-seventies.

It is also important that our staff feel supported and we are signatories to the Charter for Employers who are Positive about Mental Health. We have trained some of senior managers in mental health awareness to not only be able to provide support for existing staff who may be having difficulties but also to understand the discrimination that those with mental health issues may previously have experienced in recruitment and selection processes.

Every year we give our staff the opportunity to complete our diversity questionnaire and the statistical information is published on our website. We strive to keep learning from any feedback that we receive so that we can continue to attract and retain the best talent who will deliver the best service to our clients.
