Abha is a key member of the Technology, Media & Telecommunications team and handles both domestic and international clients in this sector. She is the focal point of all non-contentious work in the Media & Entertainment practice at the firm. Her work area covers the entire horizon of the sector, including Films & Television, Theatre & Performing Arts, Gaming, and Advertising & Public Relations. 

She is actively involved in advising, structuring, drafting, vetting and negotiating complicated agreements (like co-production, development, licensing, acquisition deals, revenue sharing deals, distribution, etc.) for media clients for their films, international formats, digital/web series and TV programs related work. She has also carried out due diligence of title and copyright ownership of more than 1000 films.

Additionally, she also provides strategic advice to various e-commerce giants and web-based business clients by understanding the laws, rules and regulations governing business-to-business and business-to-consumer and electronic commerce.

She has helped several clients in devising strategy for acquisition and licensing of Intellectual Property Rights, including Copyrights. She also handles all IP Prosecution work at the Firm, including Filing and pursuing Trademark & Copyright Registration Applications before the Registries across various states in the country and has rendered legal opinions on several complex IP Matters.
