Mr. Sun Xumin specializes in commercial dispute resolution, especially in domestic commercial litigation and arbitration in the areas of finance, investment and financing, corporate, real estate and construction. Before Mr. Sun joined AnJie Broad Law Firm, he worked at two leading law firms, King & Wood Mallesons and Grandall. Mr. Sun was recognized as a Certified Professional Lawyer in the fields of finance/securities/insurance, corporate and real estate construction by the Professional Level Assessment Committee of the Shanghai Bar Association in 2020.

During his past practice, Mr. Sun has accumulated a wealth of practice experience in the field of commercial disputes, which commonly involve complex issues such as intersection of criminal and civil law issues. He has represented many major cases in the Supreme People’s Court, several High People's Courts and arbitration institutions, and has also reversed unfavourable judgments for clients through the second trial and retrial procedures on many occasions. In the field of financial disputes, Mr. Sun has represented a number of private equity companies, trust companies and financial leasing companies in their dispute matters. In the field of corporate and investment and financing disputes, Mr. Sun has handled numerous disputes pertaining to valuation adjustment mechanism (VAM), equity transfer, corporate surplus distribution, partnership withdrawal, etc. In the area of real estate and construction, Mr. Sun’s experience covers disputes pertaining to cooperative development, construction, real estate sales and leasing, etc. Mr. Sun has also handled numerous commercial cases of other types of disputes in various courts and arbitration institutions.
