Josephine has a broad commercial disputes practice, representing both individuals and corporates, whether as claimants or defendants. For example, Josephine has acted for an individual client in defence of Takeover Panel proceedings, for a sovereign wealth fund seeking rescission of financial trades worth $2 billion allegedly procured by fraud, for an aviation broker defending claims in passing off, and for a Cypriot company in receivership which owns and operates grain terminals in the Ukraine as a respondent to LCIA arbitration proceedings.

Much of Josephine’s work is complex and involves multiple jurisdictions. Josephine has particular experience of claims involving fraud, partnership and joint venture disputes, shareholder actions, post-SPA disputes, professional negligence and claims involving jurisdiction issues.
