Jaeyoon is a patent attorney who strives to do his utmost under any circumstances. Even after passing the patent bar exam while attending university, he graduated from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Yonsei University with Summa Cum Laude. His dedication and persistence are reflected in his work as well, as he always tries his best for cases that many people believed to have little chance of winning, such as restoring an expired patent and leading the revocation of administrative penalty of the Korean Intellectual Property Office.

Jaeyoon has strong expertise in IP portfolio construction. At Yoon & Yang LLC, he successfully built IP portfolios of domestic clients such as SK Telecom, LG Innotek, CJ CGV, Seoul National University, Hongik University, Konkuk University, Chonbuk National University, KISTI, Gammanu, Wisol, and Ubi Bellox for 4 years. In addition, he performed analysis related to RM (risk management) for patents to be purchased by Intellectual Discovery, and also won first place in LG Innotek's agent recruitment test (2013). At NAM & NAM, Jaeyoon contributed to IP portfolio construction of foreign clients including Qualcomm, Caltech, and Magic Leap for 7 years as a senior patent attorney.

Jaeyoon joined PI IP LAW as he was greatly impressed by the vision, passion, and creative business models of our Partners. Jaeyoon much enjoys spending his after-work hours playing golf with his family. He is currently interested in the field of blockchain.
