Most prominently, Khai Yi was invited to give a keynote speech during the 2023 Asia LegalTech Leaders Summit and to be a speaker for a fireside chat concerning impact of artificial intelligence to the legal industry. In conjunction with the introduction of the Cyber Security Act 2024, Khai Yi has been invited to speak to C-Suites of public listed companies on a few occasions on the impact of the new cyber security law. Khai Yi has also been invited to share his view on the regulatory framework introduced by the government that requires social media and internet messaging service providers to obtain ASP(C) licence here in Malaysia. Khai Yi was also invited several times to address the startups that are part of the National Technology and Innovation Sandbox ecosystem.

The Technology Practice Group, under the leadership of Khai Yi and Johnson, has been named FinTech Law Firm of the Year by Asian Legal Business, as well as being awarded in the categories of FinTech and TMT by Asia Business Law Journal.
