Alex Dillistone

Senior associateAlex is a public law, planning and environmental lawyer specialising in infrastructure and energy projects.She has acted on many high-profile and politically sensitive matters and has particular expertise in drafting legislation, advising on legislative scope and conducting stakeholder negotiations. Recent areas include advising on the passage of the Infrastructure Act 2015 and revisions to the Environmental Impact Assessment Directive. She also has market-leading experience in advising on unconventional gas exploration.Alex has worked extensively with Government and other regulatory bodies and is a former member of the Government Legal Service.

Charlotte Coleman

Senior associateCharlotte qualified in October 2008 and joined the Property Litigation team at Winckworth Sherwood in October 2012. She has experience advising on contentious commercial landlord and tenant issues including all aspects of estate and asset management such as service charges, opposed and unopposed lease renewals, the exercise of break options, rent reviews, breaches of leasehold covenants, tenant insolvency and applications for consent to assign and underlet.She has significant experience advising on vacant possession strategies and rights of light issues and has also dealt with issues relating to party walls, restrictive covenants, easements, access rights and trespass

Jane Wakeham

Senior associateJane practiced at the common law bar for 5 years before spending 14 years in industry. Since joining Winckworth Sherwood in May 2005, Jane has been involved in a variety of contentious and non-contentious work, mainly on behalf of public bodies. Jane joined the Parliamentary and Planning team in August 2006 and has since assisted on a range of infrastructure projects.Jane has recently been involved on applications for Development Consent and Transport and Works Act Orders to authorise new railway infrastructure, including a number of promotions on behalf of Network Rail Infrastructure Limited, such as the Network Rail (Ordsall Chord) Order 2015, Network Rail (Ipswich Chord) Order 2012 and Network Rail (Nuneaton North Chord) Order 2010.

Jodie Campbell

Partner: Jodie is a partner in the Residential Development team and has acted on behalf of developers for the past 13 years providing advice on large scale residential developments as well as refurbishment and bespoke projects. Areas of particular expertise include advising developers on the preparation and set up of developments for off plan sales and managing the onward disposal of units for the domestic market and international exhibitions.  Jodie has acted on a number of landmark developments across the City including Battersea Power Station, One Tower Bridge, The Heron, Banyan Wharf and London City Island.

Katy Humphrey

Senior associateKaty qualified in September 2009 and joined the Property Litigation team at Winckworth Sherwood in March 2014.Katy advises on the full range of contentious real estate issues, including vacant possession strategies for redevelopment schemes, rights of light, tenant insolvency, unopposed and opposed lease renewals, break options, applications for consent to assign / underlet and breaches of leasehold covenants including repair and reinstatement and rent and service charge obligations. She also advises on trespass and possession actions.Katy has acted for institutional landlords, developers, commercial tenants and high net worth individuals.

Tim Fogarty

PartnerTim is an experienced development risk and disputes lawyer with a particular focus on rights of light, neighbourly matters and planning litigation. He has 25 years’ experience in real estate and development work and acts for several of the UK’s major national house builders and a broad range of other residential developers and investors.His advice ranges from pre-acquisition risk assessment, to identify and minimise risks from neighbour rights and interests, through to tactical advice to resist direct challenges to a scheme or its underlying planning consent.
