Position

Andrew is head of our Residential Property, Farms and Estates team. His career has been shaped by his passion for all things horseracing, agriculture and rural which means he really understands the issues facing those working in these communities and has a great deal of experience in dealing with high value estates, agricultural and equestrian property transactions.

Andrew established his own niche bloodstock practice in 1999, and joined Royds Withy King as a partner in 2004.

Andrew has great experience in a broad range of work including:

Agricultural and equestrian property transactions High-value estates negotiating regulatory and agricultural and business tenancy issues Sports disciplinary and licensing cases, including appearing before the Disciplinary Panel and Appeal Board of the British Horseracing Authority representing jockeys, trainers and owners Specialist commercial agreements, including sponsorship agreements under the Rules of Racing and ownership and syndications of racehorses and other bloodstock.

Education

Aylesbury Grammar School; Nottingham University.
