Position

Jennifer is a Partner advising clients on a broad range of matters including Wills, inheritance tax planning and capital gains tax, as well as issues affecting clients as they grow older such as care home fees, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection applications.

She also has ten years experience administering estates including complex probates with business or agricultural assets.  Jennifer can also assist beneficiaries improve their own inheritance tax position using Deeds of Variation.

Jennifer also has considerable experience establishing trusts to assist families with their tax planning and other objectives.  She also regularly assists with the administration and taxation of existing trusts.

Career

Jennifer joined Wansbroughs as a trainee in 2007, qualifying as a private client solicitor in 2009, became an Associate in 2014 and became a Partner in 2019.

Education

Jennifer attained a First class honours degree in Law from the University of Exeter and a Distinction in the Legal Practice Course at the University of the West of England.

Jennifer also completed the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Diploma in Trusts and Estates achieving a Distinction in the exams.
