Kathryn is a partner in the residential property team and an experienced development lawyer with an established reputation in the Yorkshire housebuilding sector, advising national and regional housebuilders, registered providers and landowners on all aspects of the acquisition and sale of both immediate and strategic land for residential development. Areas of specialism include major development schemes of brownfield sites involving multiple housebuilders, site assembly and associated land issues, overage and security arrangements and setting up estates prior to plot sales.

Mark Owen

Senior Counsel Mark is Head of the Real Estate Developers and Investors team and specialises in strategic land assembly involving promotion agreements, options, conditional contracts,  collaboration agreements, cost and/or price equalisation agreements and development work for both the public and private sectors.  He also heads the firm's Leeds office.  His clients include Commercial Estates Group, Leeds City Council and private landowners/landed estates with development sites.
