Mark has extensive experience in venture capital and private equity transactions and is adept at working with high growth disruptive businesses. Mark has a diverse institutional client base of venture capital trusts, family offices and private equity houses. His M&A practice is predominantly cross border with a blend of clients conducting buy and build strategies in the UK or clients divesting or disposing of their businesses to overseas or listed corporates.

Work highlights include acting for the shareholders of M&I Materials on the carve out of the MIDEL and MIVOLT businesses and its subsequent sale to Shell plc. Acting for Go Outdoors on its £100m MBO which included a £28m investment from 3i. Acting for YFM Equity Partners on its acquisition of The Protein Works from Alliance Boots’ venture capital arm, and acting for Parmenion Capital Partners on its £57m disposal to Aberdeen Asset Management.
