Types of work undertaken: The team has an impressive reputation as the ‘go to’ practice for high and mid value complex matrimonial, financial and children disputes. We regularly act for sophisticated international clients on matters involving substantial assets both domestic and off shore, as well as for non-domiciled individuals pursuing proceedings in the UK. For example, we have recently advised on matters involving parties and/or assets as far afield as the UAE, Kuwait, Thailand, Australia, Nigeria, United States, Isle of Man, South Africa and others.

We act for a significant number of wealthy clients, including those with successful family businesses and/or family money. Much of our work involves assets of at least £10m, with some cases involving HNW families with £40-80m in assets and often high profile individuals.

Our expertise also includes handling child arrangement orders with a complex element, removal of children from the jurisdiction, internal relocation and other specific issues such as child abduction. These include, for example, the reported decision in MM (A Child: relocation) [2014] EWFC B176. We continue to develop our expertise in this key area. We are all members of Resolution including an accredited specialist in both Advanced Financial Provision and Children Law Private.

In addition we have a thriving TOLATA and Schedule 1 Children Act 1989 practice advising individuals on an unmarried relationship breakdown and assist in navigating this complex area of law.
