Torque Law ends another successful year with rare client satisfaction accolade.

Torque Law, York’s award-winning specialist employment law firm, is celebrating having been recognised for its consistently exceptional client satisfaction levels by being given a 5 star rating by independent researchers, Legal 500.

Following a year of unprecedented staff and financial growth and a recent office expansion, Torque Law has been recognised by the Legal500, the directory which ranks the most highly regarded law firms, for delivering consistently exceptional results for their clients, achieving a new ‘5 Star Client Satisfaction Excellence’ rating.

Researchers identified only a handful of outstanding firms in the UK, including Torque Law, using data collated from client feedback over a 6-year period. All aspects of law firm practice were analysed, from responsiveness, efficiency, communications, and billing transparency, through to lawyer quality, industry profile and technical expertise.

Emma Whiting, Partner at Torque Law, commented: “We strive to build truly excellent relationships with our clients and invest significant time and effort in ensuring that all our clients receive exceptional service from across the team. We are delighted that this accolade recognises our concerted efforts over a considerable period, and our growing reputation as a standout ‘challenger brand”.

This industry acknowledgement comes at the end of a year of remarkable growth for Yorkshire’s leading niche employment practice. Torque Law recently closed the financial year posting a 28% increase in turnover, having grown their team and their market share over the preceding 12 months. Drawing both talent and clients from large multi-national law firms, largely by way of recommendation and referral, it is no surprise that Torque Law has caught the attention of the researchers.

“We get out of bed in the mornings to help our employer and executive clients get clarity on complex employment law issues and guide them towards the best outcome.  To know that our whole team is hitting the mark in the way we work means a huge amount”, Tiggy Clifford, Partner, added. “Our growth plans for Torque Law will focus on ensuring that our firm culture continues to meet the needs of both our clients and our team.”

The firm continues to innovatively shape its platform around the needs of HR Directors, General Counsel and other sophisticated purchasers of employment legal services, the success of which is evident from the firms ever growing roster of household-name clients.
