• Advised FIFA on media rights agreements in respect of all of FIFA’s competitions including the FIFA World Cup and the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
• Advised the ITF on a ground-breaking five-year global rights and technology partnership with Infront (the international sports media and marketing agency).
• Successfully acted for a range of athletes in anti-doping proceedings over the last year, including a first-of-its-kind case involving a charge never before brought by UKAD and invoking novel provisions to secure an expedited hearing.
• Represented former President of the United States in respect of High Court proceedings in respect of alleged breaches of data protection legislation by Orbis Business Intelligence Limited arising from the Defendant’s publication of the ‘Steele Dossier’.
• Advised Sport Mobile and its owners in relation to a High Court claim arising from a series of national and international media coverage published by national newspapers to millions online and in print.
• Advised on 200 player transfers, loans and new contracts during the 2024 summer transfer window.
• Negotiated a substantial worldwide record licensing agreement of select recordings from the PMC Records Catalogue
• Advised on a major deal with Apple in which our client Team Salut secured the coveted spot to be the soundtrack for the Apple iPhone 15 launch campaign.
• Acted for Reach Music Publishing on its high-profile acquisition of recording and publishing rights in Judas Priest’s first two albums.
