Simon played a leading role in the development of the groundbreaking regime to regulate trust company business, which made Jersey a leader in setting standards in this area, and he has since continued to be closely involved in the ongoing development of Jersey’s anti-money laundering and regulatory legislation. A Jersey advocate and Mourant Ozannes’ partner in the finance and corporate practice group in Jersey, he is also head of the firm’s financial services team, which specialises in regulatory and Jersey banking advice.
