Neal is a Partner in the Mourant Cayman Islands office, specialising in all aspects of corporate work.

He has over 20 years' experience advising clients on the establishment and restructuring of Cayman Islands hedge funds and private equity funds. I also represent fund sponsors in connection with seed-capital investments and represent institutional investors in connection with their investments in private funds. Neal's clients implement a broad variety of strategies and include some of the world's leading asset managers.

Neal's wide-ranging corporate and commercial experience includes advising on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, equity capital markets, debt capital markets, SPACs, and Cayman Islands Stock Exchange listings.

Prior to moving to the Cayman Islands in 2003, Neal practised with Skadden, Arps and Simmons & Simmons in London, and with ENS in Johannesburg.
