Position

Counsel

Ann holds the position of Counsel within the Corporate team at Babbé. She has over twenty years experience as an English qualified solicitor specialising in corporate, banking and finance law.  She has an established and impressive background in commercial and retail banking, corporate advisory, organisational restructuring and providing advice on a wide range of multi-jurisdictional lending, security structuring and regulatory matters. She has extensive experience in advising leading banks and financial institutions on financial transactions in a timely and commercially minded manner.

Career

Ann joined Babbé’s corporate team in 2021 with extensive experience in Guernsey’s legal sector, having worked for offshore law firms in Guernsey for 14 years. 

Ann started her career as a banker and spent a number of years in banking, qualifying as an Associate of the London Institute of Banking and Finance. Ann decided to follow a career in law and, following her qualification as an English solicitor, she worked in general practice and in-house as a legal manager with a leading financial institution before moving to Guernsey in 2007.
