Isabella joined Oury Clark in 2020 and trained at the firm, qualifying in July 2023 into the Employment team.

She has a wide range of experience assisting businesses based both in the UK and overseas with a range of contentious and non-contentious UK employment law matters. Isabella also has experience in Business Immigration, having undertaken both her paralegal role and part of her training contract in the Business Immigration team.

Her experience includes:

Advising businesses and senior executives on a wide range of employment related claims such as breach of contract, unfair dismissal and discrimination claims, and where necessary, negotiating settlement agreements. Notable examples include a claim for breach of contract against a capital markets company, where the claimants argued breach of contract regarding their probationary period and notice period. The claim was successfully defended. Drafting key employment related documents for businesses, such as employment contracts, service agreements, staff handbooks and related policies. Advising businesses on the management of their UK workforce, including matters such as managing deficient performance and misconduct, redundancies, handling flexible working requests and data protection compliance in the context of employment. Providing employment related assistance with a range of different corporate transactions and advising on service provision changes and business transfers within the remit of TUPE. Undertaking due diligence in the employment context within corporate transactions, including investigating issues associated with Employment Management Incentives (EMI).
