Mr. Lago specializes in Intellectual Property Law, including patent, trademark and copyright litigation and prosecution.

Career

Mr. Lago joined Pérez Alati, Grondona, Benites, Arntsen & Martínez de Hoz (h) in August 2004 and became a partner in 2016. Prior to joining the firm, he worked at two other firms specialized in IP matters: Estudio Mille (1996-2000) and Sena & Berton Moreno (2000-2004).

Memberships

Mr. Lago is a member of the Bar Association of the City of Buenos Aires and a member of the Bar of the Province of Buenos Aires. Mr. Lago has a federal license to litigate in all the federal courts of Argentina and is also registered as Industrial Property Agent – Patent and Trademark Attorney.

Education

Mr. Lago graduated as a lawyer from the School of Law of the University of Buenos Aires. He has a postgraduate degree from the University of Buenos Aires in Intellectual Property and a technical degree on International Commerce. Julio also attended a P.I.L. Program of Instruction for Lawyers at Harvard Law School.
