Enrique A. Betemps

Mr. Betemps focuses his practice Employment and Social Security Law. He regularly advises clients on labor and social security laws as well as represents clients (companies and individuals) in connection with labor and social security claims and proceedings before local authorities, labor courts, labor unions and/or other competent authorities. Enrique Betemps’ advice also includes the drafting and negotiation of employment agreements. Germán Martín Quirán

Mr. Martín Quirán specializes in Tax and Customs law. His expertise on Customs Law includes challenging export and import duties assessments, customs value matters on import and exports operations, anti-dumping investigations, customs infringements and customs criminal defenses, tax reimbursements and tax benefit claims before Customs Bureau, National Tax Court, Federal Courts and Argentine National Supreme Court. He has also thorough experience providing legal advice on customs matters, including free trade zones, international trade matters, due-diligence processes and strategic planning regarding customs law. His Tax Law practice also includes the defense of clients, both businesses and individuals, regarding Municipal, Provincial and Federal tax assessments and fines, practicing in all stages of the legal process: administrative and judicial local stages as well as National Tax Court and Federal Courts, and the National Supreme Court of Justice. Guillermo E. Quiñoa

Mr. Quiñoa focuses his practice mainly on Business Law, Real Estate & Construction Law, Litigation and Arbitration. During his more than 25 years as a business lawyer, Guillermo E. Jorge L. Pérez Alati

Mr. Perez Alati is one of the founding partners of PAGBAM. He is internationally recognized as one of the most experienced and solid transactional Argentine lawyers. He leads our Firm’s Merger and Acquisition Practice, having actively participated in the largest private acquisitions that took place in Argentina over the last two decades. Mr. Perez Alati represents all type of local and foreign investors in a full range of projects in Argentina (mergers and acquisitions, dispositions of assets, private equity transactions, business combinations, corporate and assets reorganizations, etc). He is particularly versed on cross-border and international transactions. In addition, he regularly advises clients on matters or Argentine corporate law (such as setting up of corporate entities, subsidiaries, branches, disputes between shareholders, board of directors and internal committees matters, corporate governance) and contracts law.

Julio César Stefanoni Zani

Mr. Stefanoni Zani leads the Labor and Social Security practice group at PAGBAM. He holds extensive experience in collective and individual litigation and administrative proceedings before Argentine governmental authorities, including the Ministerio de Trabajo, Empleo y Seguridad Social (the Argentine Ministry of Labor and Social Security Affairs), labor courts, labor unions or other competent authorities. Further, his practice covers a wide range of specialties, such as (i) the structuring of labor relationships to mitigate legal contingencies; (ii) the review of compliance issues under applicable employment laws; (iii) the drafting of employment policies and guidance on their application; (iv) the drafting and negotiation of individual employment agreements; (v) the design of strategies for the down-sizing or closing of industrial or commercial facilities and dismissal of the workforce; (vii) the drafting of confidentiality and non- compete agreements, golden parachutes; and (viii) the structuring of stock option plans, and any agreements and instruments dealing with labor matters, among others.

Lautaro D. Ferro

Mr.  Ferro focuses on Dispute Resolution (Litigation) and Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law. Lucila Guerrero

Lucila Guerrero works on general Commercial Law, and specializes on aeronautical and insurance matters. In aeronautical matters, she advises local and international airlines, in regulatory and contractual matters, designs and implements legal defenses against passenger claims or administrative claims from different State agencies. Regarding her insurance practice, Lucila provides advice to insurance companies, brokers and agents in the commercial and regulatory aspects of their insurance business. Additionally, she advises other industries in due diligence processes in matters of insurance and claims for insured events.

Mr. Barry represents domestic and international clients in Antitrust and Competition matters arising in many of the most complex and important transactions that have taken place and are occurring in Argentina (including, M&As and other business combinations), and across a wide variety of industries. M. Carolina Abdelnabe Vila specializes in Antitrust and Competition matters advising domestic and international clients in complex and important economic concentrations. Moreover, she specializes in Consumer Protection matters helping clients to comply with said regime in an effective and proactive way. Matías Corte

Matías Corte is a member of our Tax team and is specialized in tax litigation. He provides legal advice on tax matters for national and international clients, being in charge of the definition and implementation of the most appropriate legal and procedural strategy in a claim or tax litigation. Matías represents clients before all tax agencies, the Federal and Provincial Tax Courts and the federal and provincial courts. Matías frequently litigates before the Federal Supreme Court of Justice, having obtained important decisions in favor of PAGBAM clients.

Mr. Aramburu has been a partner in Pérez Alati, Grondona, Benites & Arntsen since 2007.
