Barry’s specialist areas of practice are mergers and acquisitions, secured lending; property unit trusts, collective investment schemes, private client, trusts, pensions, corporate structuring, corporate governance and financial services regulation and online gaming licencing and structuring.

Barry is a qualified South African attorney, conveyancer and notary public, as well as an English solicitor, and an Isle of Man Advocate and notary public.

He has been practicing for more than 40 years in South Africa and the Isle of Man.

Before working with DQ as a consultant Barry was a Group Legal Director of a large trust and fiduciary service provider.
