Career

Alexandre is a specialist in greenfield and brownfield projects, as well as related transactions for all infrastructure sectors, including, construction, energy, oil and gas, shipping, logistics (airports, highways, railways, ports and urban mobility), sanitation, mining, steel, industrial plants and ESG projects.

A former international associate at Milbank LLP in London, during the span of his career Alexandre has participated in several prominent infrastructure transactions and ‘deals of the year’ in emerging markets, including in Latin America, the Caribbean, Africa, and the Middle East.

Alexandre was previously a professor at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). Currently, Alexandre is a guest professor and coordinator for postgraduate courses at other renowned universities, including the Brazilian Energy Law Institute (linked to the University of São Paulo).

He frequently collaborates with international publications, having authored numerous books and more than thirty academic publications that have been cited in court and regulatory agency decisions.
