Ariel Ramos

Ariel ramos is a partner in mayer brown's energy and finance practice groups based in the firm's mexico city office. Ariel primarily focuses on transactions related to energy, government procurement, project development, project finance, epc contracts and regulatory advise in those areas. He also handles, finance, restructuring and corporate matters. With 30 years of practice in mexico, he provides advice to clients in energy and infrastructure project in mexico and latam including international sponsors and developers, service companies, financial institutions, investment bankers and private equity funds, construction companies and governmental entities. He assists clients in the structuring, negotiations and implementation of projects, risk assessment, regulatory advice, and project contracts including, power purchase agreements (ppa), long-term service contracts (cps), public-private partnerships (ppp), public financed works (opf), engineering, procurement and construction contracts (epc), operation and maintenance contracts (o&m), and fuel and gas supply and transportation agreements.
