Position

Daniela is a partner in the Natural Resources Practice Area, specializing in regulatory and commercial advice in the electricity sector, both to the agents that already participate in the market, consumers and potential investors interested in developing electrical activities.

Career

She has significant experience in legal and strategic advice in disputes and dispute resolution in the electricity market, in the preparation of market studies, as well as in the negotiation of electricity supply contracts. Her experience in bidding processes for power and energy contracting allows her to offer consulting services that go from the awarding process stage to the development of energy projects in general.

Before joining Rubio Leguía Normand, Daniela worked as a senior associate at Laub & Quijandría Energy Group, where she was in charge of the multidisciplinary team of the electricity area. She also served as Legal Coordinator of the Legal Management of the Supervisory Body of Investment in Energy and Mining (Osinergmin), where she provided regulatory advice on matters under the competence of the supervisory body and participated in the preparation of regulatory proposals and regulations applied to the sectors of electricity, liquid hydrocarbons, natural gas and mining.

Daniela has various specializations in regulatory matters applied to the electricity, hydrocarbon, mining and environmental industries.
