Daniela García Belaunde heads the team at Rubio Leguía Normand, which forms part of the firm’s wider energy and natural resources practice. It acts for public and private sector clients on corporate matters, regulatory issues, procurement and PPAs, contracts work and disputes. García, who draws on previous experience at OSINERGMIN, brings strong expertise in regulatory matters, the preparation of market studies, the negotiation of electricity supply contracts and commercial matters, and is able to advise on the full life cycle of projects, from the awarding process through to development and operation. Strong associate support is provided by Annie Mijahuanga, who is recommended for administrative proceedings before regulators and commercial contracts. Former principal associate Katherine Yesquén Lihim left the firm.
