Jason Lovell is a corporate partner in our International Infrastructure and Energy Group. He has an international practice comprising a wide range of transactions and projects. Jason has significant international energy experience advising on the sale and purchase of development projects and generating assets, working extensively for both state owned and privately owned entities and also working on a number of high profile energy joint ventures. His experience extends through the full length of the energy chain, including traditional oil and gas transactions (upstream, midstream and downstream), conventional and unconventional power generation, interconnectors, renewables, battery storage and shale gas development. Assisted China General Nuclear European Energy in acquiring a 75% stake in the 650MW Markbygden project in Sweden (the largest single site onshore wind farm in Europe).
