Mark Everiss
Mark Everiss is a partner in Eversheds Sutherland’s London office. He focuses on insurance and reinsurance policy wording and coverage advice and disputes. He has represented clients in the London insurance market for over 25 years. Mark has handled many significant cases both in the High Court and in arbitration involving various business lines, including third party liability, onshore and offshore energy, financial institutions, product liability, D&O, cyber, warranty & indemnity and contingency, as well as numerous reinsurance disputes in the live and legacy markets. In his spare time, Mark enjoys playing and watching various sports. He is an avid collector of eclectic sporting memorabilia and art. Mark was a director of the Insurance & Reinsurance Legacy Association from 2007 to 2023 and headed up the organising committee of the IRLA Annual Congress from 2017 to 2021. He is also an active member of BILA.

Sophie White
Sophie is an employment partner in the London office and co-heads the Eversheds Sutherland Financial Institutions Employment group. She is a highly experienced employment lawyer, who advises clients on complex transactional and contentious matters with a focus on financial services. Sophie advises extensively on SMCR implementation, compliance and conduct rule breaches with linked regulatory investigations. She is skilled at guiding clients through regulatory investigations and advising on other regulatory employment matters at every stage of the employment life cycle and is one of the authors of the Employment Practitioner’s Guide to Financial Institutions: Key Aspects of the Regulatory Framework. Sophie has significant expertise of leading the employment aspects of outsourcing projects. She regularly undertakes strategic TUPE negotiations (and wider global automatic transfer negotiations) on behalf of her clients and is able to explain any contentious automatic transfer issues in a clear and concise manner so that her clients can fully consider the options open to them.
Stuart Dutson
Stuart is a partner and specialises in international arbitration, international litigation and international law. He has conducted arbitrations under all major arbitration institutions' rules in London, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Stuart has litigated international disputes in London, Australia, Europe, New York, Africa and the Middle East. Stuart has also designed complex dispute resolution mechanisms, including for oil and gas projects in Russia, Chile, Kuwait and Nigeria.
