A partner in our construction and engineering team, Tom Douglas helps clients develop, procure, and deliver complex infrastructure and development projects.

He is a partner in our construction and engineering team. He specializes in transactional construction and engineering projects and acts for clients, including transport authorities, developers, central government, local authorities, investors, lenders and contractors.

Tom has particular experience with the New Engineering Contract (NEC) suite of contracts and the use of framework agreements to facilitate collaborative delivery of major and routine projects. He has drafted and negotiated a wide range of frameworks and contracts for multi-billion pound and smaller scale projects.

Tom has co-produced a practical guide to collaborative procurement, with the intention of having an easily digestive toolkit for those who are looking to explore new ways of contracting.
