Wie-Men Ho

Work Department

Wie-Men is one of the firm's most experienced advocates, having appeared in Employment Tribunals across England, Wales and Scotland since 2003. He continues to represent businesses and organisations, both in the public and private sector, at tribunal on complex/high profile/high value discrimination claims, which often carry reputational risk.

Wie-Men is also experienced in representing clients both in Judicial and private mediation; and he has helped his clients successfully resolve litigious disputes, through the mediation process, on many occasions.

In addition to his Employment Tribunal work, Wie-Men advises businesses and organisations on strategic people management issues in relation to matters such as managing complex investigations, disciplinaries and grievances, executive terminations, sickness and absence management and business restructuring and reorganisation.

Wie-Men is the Training Lead for the Birmingham Employment Team and also enjoys delivering training. He regularly speaks at client and public seminars on topics such as tackling unlawful discrimination, dealing with bullying and harassment in the workplace, absence management and conducting complex disciplinary and grievance investigations. He has also recently designed (and delivered) a bespoke mock Employment Tribunal for one of the UK's largest energy providers.

Wie-Men is also a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and is sector focussed having a number of clients in sectors such as Consumer, Retail, Finance, Energy and Life Sciences. He has a broad knowledge and understanding of issues that directly affect his clients' businesses and not just from an employment law perspective.
