Hannah is a Professional Support Lawyer and Principal Associate for Commercial Dispute Resolution.
Before becoming a support lawyer, Hannah had ten years in practice with expertise in general commercial litigation, financial services, civil fraud and regulatory disputes.
She advised clients on a wide variety of issues both pre-action and within proceedings, on a wide range of contractual, tortious and regulatory disputes including cheque conversion, mortgage and card fraud, professional negligence, PPI, merchant services provision, Visa and MasterCard Scheme chargeback disputes and interchange disputes. As part of her fraud practice, Hannah advised clients from both regulated and non-regulated sectors, specialising in commercial fraud, injunctions/other emergency court applications, civil asset recovery cases, fraud investigations and bribery/corruption. Hannah was heavily involved in advising clients both in the UK and globally on the implications of the Bribery Act 2010, regularly providing training, risk assessments and undertaking speaking engagements on the topic. She also led the Firm's creation, development and sales campaign and project management of anti-bribery@work, Eversheds' online e-learning package on bribery and corruption, which has been rolled out to in excess of 80,000 users worldwide in more than 30 languages.
Hannah now keeps lawyers up to date on new legal and procedural developments and provides training on key topics. She maintains the group's internal website and acts as a sounding-board for contributions of know-how and best practice, so as to facilitate and encourage development of a consensus view on matters of law and procedure.
