Richard Matthews is a partner in our Commercial Dispute Resolution Team and heads the firm’s product liability practice. He has been a partner in the Litigation and Dispute Management Practice Group since 2001.

He has considerable experience of advising major global businesses on their responses to product incidents, insurance claims, supply chain disputes and crisis management generally. Richard has knowledge in the automotive, industrial engineering, medical devices, chemicals, food and consumer products sectors.

Richard also heads the firm’s contentious public procurement practice, with significant expertise in acting for contracting authorities, utilities and tenderers on high profile and complex procurement challenges.
