Stephen is Head of the UK Developers and Regeneration Group. He specialises in development and regeneration schemes for both public and private sector bodies.

His recent experience includes:

Acting for the successful Vinci/St Modwen consortium on the MoD's Project Model - winner of the 2007 Public Private Finance most innovative project. The deal combined property and project finance through a land barter transaction to finance the £150m redevelopment of RAF Northolt.  Acting for a London based university on its involvement in a major educational research centre with four other public sector bodies.

He is currently our lead advisor on the redevelopment scheme for New Covent Garden Market, which is seeking a private sector partner to redevelop the site using value released on surplus land - the scheme has received Defra and HMT approval.

Stephen is responsible for co-ordinating the public sector regeneration team in Eversheds across all our offices. This work includes identifying means of using assets as a lever for regeneration.

Stephen is noted as a leading individual in planning law and recognised "an up and coming force" in the field of projects and PFI work by Chambers' Guide to the Legal Profession.
