Frances is a Senior Associate in our Human Resources practice group specialising in Employment Tribunal Litigation.

Frances is involved in the Eversheds Energy sector. She has been appointed to the Severn Trent and National Grid client service teams due to her litigation and advocacy expertise.

Frances has successfully defended multiple claims for a FTSE 100 Energy client involving unfair dismissal, discrimination and breach of contract. Further, she was instrumental in securing success in a whistleblowing claim for an public sector agricultural client.

Frances advises clients during all stages of the Tribunal process and has successfully secured multiple strike out decisions on technical issues involving timing points; the application of TUPE; and prospects of success for discrimination and whistleblowing claims. She has secured judicial mediation settlements which involved ongoing employee relation issues.

Frances advises on non contentious matters and has experience advising on contractual change projects affecting the entire workforce for public and private sector clients. She advises on company policies; settlement agreements; investigations, capability, disciplinary and grievance procedures; and redundancy and restructuring projects. She is appointed to a number of client service team helplines advising on general employment and Employee Relation issues.

Frances is the HRPG client relationship manager for a financial client. She manages the day to day relationship, organises bespoke training and is the central contact for all employment matters.

Frances also works with Eversheds Restructuring Team advising on employment and TUPE matters for the sale of businesses in distress.

Frances conducts client training on public and private courses keeping clients up to date with legislation changes and recent case law. Her training focus is to minimise litigation risks for clients through understanding the law.

She is a member of the Employment Lawyer’s Association and the Law Society and attends local and national Employment Tribunal User Group meetings.
