Rob advises on the GB electricity market and its regulatory framework, and commodity trading. He offers a wealth of experience from over a decade in the sector (private practice and in-house) having previously worked at an electricity supplier, for the Commodities Energy (Oil, Gas, Power & Coal) Risk Desk at a leading investment bank and in the Commodities Legal Team at one of the most powerful European wholesale market traders for electricity and gas.

Rob’s practice covers renewable and thermal power development, electricity industry codes and regulation, energy trading and supply, energy related subsidies and scheme participation, carbon credit trading, electricity transmission and distribution network connection offers and agreements, and commercial agreements across the energy spectrum including BESS optimisation agreements, tolling agreements, power purchase agreements, energy supply agreements, ROC and REGO trading Agreements, ISDAs, EFETs (Gas & Power) and Netting Agreements.

Rob has consistently been recognised as a "Rising Star" by The Legal 500 (2021-4) for Power (including electricity, nuclear and renewables), and was the winner of Energy UK's Young Energy Professionals Rising Star 2021 Award. Listed in the 2023, 2024 and 2025 editions of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for work in Energy and Natural Resources Law. Rob is fluent in English and Polish.
