Michael is a Senior Associate who advises clients on a wide range of high value, complex and cross-border disputes, often with a fraud element. Michael has recently had a leading role on the highly publicised multi-billion dollar dispute for Malaysia’s Minister of Finance (Incorporated) and 1MDB against two Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth funds, and three separate claims before the English Courts for the FTSE 40 listed company, SEGRO Plc. Michael has a particular interest in the industrials and energy sectors, and has worked on disputes for clients including Rolls-Royce, Dyson, Optimas OE Solutions and ExxonMobil, where he undertook a secondment in 2015.
