Claire is a Partner in the Litigation and Dispute Management Team. Claire specialises in complex commercial claims, particularly those relating to financial services or pensions. Claire is one of Eversheds' specialists who deal with pensions disputes. She is experienced in dealing with a wide range of pensions disputes, including professional negligence claims on behalf of both trustees and employers, representative proceedings seeking directions from the Court and Pensions Ombudsman complaints. She acted on behalf of one of the representative beneficiaries in the Court of Appeal case Trustee Solutions Limited -v- Dubery and another [2008] 1 All ER 826. She also advised a representative defendant in the recent proceedings brought by the trustee of the Pilots National Pension Fund (PNPF Trust Company Ltd v Taylor and others [2010] EWHC 1573 (Ch)).  Claire  is also a specialist in dealing with enforcement proceedings instigated by the Financial Conduct Authority and AIM, and has recently deal with enforcement matters including market abuse, CASS, AML controls and SYSC related issues.

Claire regularly provides training for clients, and has spoken at external conferences for NAPF, SPC and the Actuarial Profession. She contributes articles and comments regularly, and has contributed several technical notes for Practical Law Company in relation to pensions issues, including "Costs in Pensions Litigation" and "Investment Issues in DC Schemes". Claire was noted as an Up and Coming Individual in Chambers 2011/12, which said that she "maintains a strong profile in the market as a "safe pair of hands" for complex pensions disputes". 

Claire is a member of the Association of Pensions Lawyers and sits on the APL Pensions Litigation Committee.
