Charlotte is a Principal Associate in our real estate group. She specialises in both development work and advising public sector institutions. Charlotte has experience of a wide range of real estate work, acting for both public and private sector clients. Work that she has been involved in includes leasehold and freehold acquisition and disposals, landlord and tenant work and portfolio management including several business parks and property developments as well as mainstream development work including development agreements. She has acted on a number of investment sales and purchases, both carrying out due diligence and acting on the acquisition documents. She also has extensive expertise of property transactions in the PFI sector and working with clients to find the most effective solutions to take the deal forward. Her experience includes: acting for several local authorities on their waste projects including London Borough of Southwark and Merseyside Waste Disposal Authority, advising Leeds Teaching Hospitals on their extensive reconfiguration and redevelopment within St James' Hospital, Leeds, advising various education institutions on their student accommodation projects including University of Stirling and Bradford College, acting on NHS LIFT projects, advising academy trusts on a number of academy conversions and advising the NHS Trust on the disposal of the former Princess Royal hospital for residential development. Her recent work includes advising Anchor Trust on their portfolio, including the acquisition of several new strategic sites, acting for several NHS trusts in the Yorkshire and Humberside regions on management of their extensive portfolio's, acting for Cleveland College of Art and Design on the acquisition and development of a new campus as well as advising a wide range of clients on general development and real estate work including landlord and tenant work and portfolio management.
