Mark has over 25 years’ experience in dealing with a variety of personal injury claims.

Mark’s main areas of expertise include:

Public sector recreational claims. Representing the Forestry Commission and The Royal Parks in relation to public liability claims. Dealing with a variety of claims under the Occupier’s Liability Acts, Highways Act 1980 and Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000, to include tree claims, mountain bike/cycling accidents, tripping/slipping claims, designated play areas/facilities, operational activities on land, barrier incidents. A number of cases have been successfully defended to trial. Mark has advised the Forestry Commission on policy regarding on recreational access on their land holdings. Hotel and Leisure Sector (Travel Law). A wide range of travel/leisure/travel related claims either under the Package Travel Regulations (90/314) or litigated directly in other jurisdictions, covering personal injury and quality issues. Extensive experience of dealing with the issues of jurisdiction and applicable law. Mark has a clear understanding of personal injury issues involved with multi-jurisdictional cases. Aviation sector. Dealing with passenger claims on behalf of Alitalia. This work includes personal injury claims under the Montreal Convention, delay/baggage claims under the Denied Boarding Regulations (261/2004), claims under the European Small Claims Procedure, and advising in relation to policy matters with the CAA.”
