Tom Ray Jackson

Tom is an Associate in our Corporate group. He specialises in corporate transactional work including M&A, private equity, joint ventures, group reorganisations and general corporate governance matters.

Tom’s recent experience includes acting for: Electra Partners on its £160 million acquisition of a leading data services provider from UBM plc across 10 international business divisions located in 28 jurisdictions; Phoenix Equity Partners on a £50 million investment in the Gym Group Limited; Bridges Ventures on its investment in Viva Gym (its first investment in mainland Europe); WM Morrison Supermarkets Plc on the sale of 140 high street convenience stores; and Equistone and the management sellers on the $252 million sale of Worldmark to Toronto Stock Exchange Listed CLL Industries.

Tom undertook a six month secondment to Louis Dreyfus Commodities in Switzerland as an in-house counsel, where he was involved in a wide range of non-corporate legal issues for the Europe and Black Sea regions in addition to various M&A and Joint Venture projects. Tom was also seconded to our Hong Kong offices for six months where he worked on various commercial and contentious matters.

Tom has an honours degree in Law from City University London and completed his Legal Practice Course at BPP University Law School with Distinction.
