Arnaud Arrecgros

Arnaud is a partner in Maples and Calder (Luxembourg)'s Finance team at the Maples Group.  He has extensive experience in cross border financing and banking transactions, including corporate debt facilities, acquisition, asset and real estate financing and restructurings, funds financing in connection with the setting up of bridge and capital commitment facilities, securitizations, as well as capital markets matters.  He represents both borrowers (including private equity and hedge funds) and lenders on lending transactions and all types of secured transactions, advising in particular on the setting up of security packages and issues surrounding collateral in the context of debt restructuring transactions.

James O'Neal

James is a principal in Maples and Calder (Luxembourg) at the Maples Group, where he is head of the Luxembourg Tax group.  He advises Fortune 500 companies, private equity, real estate funds and start-ups on many aspects of Luxembourg taxation, including holding activities, cross border financing, IP planning, mergers and acquisitions, and restructuring.  James also focuses on updating tax structures to robustly comply with BEPS, economic substance and transfer pricing.

Jean-Dominique Morelli

Jean-Dominique is a partner of Maples and Calder (Luxembourg)'s Tax team at the Maples Group, where he focuses on international corporate taxation and mainly advises on cross-border transactions, local real estate deals, mergers & acquisitions, project financing, structured finance, securitisations, corporate restructuring, investment funds and intellectual property. Jean-Dominique has engaged in a broad range of clients including multinational corporations, real estate funds, private equity houses, investment funds, banking and financial institutions, asset managers and high net-worth individuals.

Johan Terblanche

Johan is Managing Partner of Maples and Calder (Luxembourg) at the Maples Group, where he is head of the Luxembourg Funds & Investment Management team.  Johan has been focusing on fund structuring / formation and regulated financial business for the majority of his career.  He advises managers and investors of collective investment funds, with a particular focus on alternative funds (including private equity, debt, infrastructure, real estate and hedge funds) and their management entities

Manfred Dietrich

Manfred is a partner of Maples and Calder (Luxembourg)'s Funds & Investment Management team at the Maples Group. He advises on the formation, restructuring and marketing of Luxembourg investment funds and vehicles, as well as their operation and liquidation. Manfred's experience also includes advising AIFM, management companies, portfolio managers/advisers, depositaries and service providers in the funds sector regarding their set-up, operation and restructuring. Furthermore, he advises on any type of financing and transactional work related to fund structures as well as LPs on fund investments. While Manfreds practice mainly focuses on alternative assets (including green technology and energy, energy transition, private equity, debt, infrastructure, real estate and hedge strategies) he has over two decades of experience in UCITS.

Marjorie Allo

Marjorie is head of Maples and Calder (Luxembourg)'s Corporate team at the Maples Group and has significant experience in corporate restructuring, corporate finance and securities.  Marjorie's clients range from hospitality and leisure, financial services, energy, media and telecommunications, technology and retail.  She also regularly advises major private equity firms and real estate funds in cross border and joint venture transactions.

Michelle Barry

Michelle is a partner of Maples and Calder (Luxembourg)'s Funds & Investment Management team at the Maples Group.  Michelle advises clients on a wide variety of legal, regulatory and compliance matters, with a particular focus on the structuring, establishment, ongoing operation, and regulation of all forms of Luxembourg domiciled investment funds (including private equity and private debt funds).  Michelle's experience also includes acting for a wide range of fund service providers, including investment managers, administrators, depositaries, management companies and AIFMs.
