Career

Carlos is a business-oriented lawyer, mentor, lecturer, and dispute resolution practitioner with over 20 years of experience in Mexico City and New York. He helps clients prevent and resolve conflicts, manage crisis situations, navigate risks, and address their day-to-day legal problems. As a dispute resolution lawyer, Carlos interacts with various practice areas, including energy and projects, infrastructure, M&A, IP, financial services, tax, and regulatory, among others, across a wide array of industries. He is accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment and interacting with different stakeholders (clients, law firms, regulatory and governmental agencies, etc.) from various cultures and jurisdictions, with a particular focus on Latin America. Carlos works closely with clients worldwide to understand the business side of specific matters and always seeks business-oriented solutions within the applicable legal framework.
