Career

Mr. Hurtado has been counsel to multiple domestic and foreign clients in regulatory and antitrust issues and trade disputes, mainly arising from customs regulation and international trade treaties. He has participated in more than 40 anti-dumping and anti-subsidy and antitrust investigations and is part of Mexico's list of panelists for NAFTA arbitrations. He has participated as a panelist in 3 Chapter 19 panels and as a party representative in 4 panels of such chapter. Nowadays, Mr. Hurtado is part of the Mexico´s list of panelists for T-MEC, participating in the chapters on labor dispute mechanisms, commercial remedies (Chap. 10), and dispute resolution in general (Chap. 31).
