Career

Marta Loubet Joined the firm in 2019.  She  has 14 years of diverse and significant professional experience in the area of competition and antitrust, regularly assisting national and multinational companies in matters of merger control, investigations on abuse of dominance and cartels and the development and implementation of compliance programs. Her expertise is focused on energy projects, transportation, financial services, FMCG and TMT.

Prior to joining the firm, Marta was part of the competition teams in Mexico City, Brussels and Paris of leading firms in the market for more than six years, after having served as a stagiaire in the DG COMP of the European Commission and the French Council of State. Admitted to practice in Madrid (and admissible in Brussels - List E) since 2011, she was admitted to practice in Mexico in 2017. Marta is part of Abogadas MX, the leading association in the promotion of gender equality in the legal sector in Mexico, and a professor (competition law) at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México.
