Juan Carlos Partida joined the firm in 2002. He has been a Partner since 2006. His practice focuses on international trade remedies and customs, regulatory issues and anti-money laundering with respect to money service businesses.

He is experienced in trade remedies investigations, customs law, NAFTA, WTO and administrative law. Counsels domestic and foreign companies in antidumping investigations before the Mexican Ministry of Economy, and in dispute resolution panels before the World Trade Organization. He advises several companies in dispute settlement proceedings established pursuant to chapter 19 of the North American Free Trade Agreement. He has also been selected as a Panelist by the Mexican and U.S. governments in NAFTA dispute settlement proceedings.

Juan Carlos has been recognized as one of the key international trade lawyers in Mexico by Chambers Latin America (for 14 consecutive years), The Legal 500 and Who’s Who Legal.
