Career

Sergio’s practice includes more than 24 years of professional experience advising national and international companies in project finance and infrastructure, banking and finance, capital markets, corporate, M&A, as well as securities, derivatives and Fintech Law.

He represents national and international lenders, sponsors, borrowers and governments in a large number of financial transactions, including private equity and venture capital of infrastructure projects, public offerings, securitizations and privatizations. He also has broad experience advising the public sector in designing and structuring operations related to public works, public procurement, and public-private partnerships (PPP's), which includes the drafting of the latest Federal Law of Special Economic Zones, which was created to enhance the economic and social development of Mexico.
