Heather Manson heads Bowmans Aviation team, and is an insurance and reinsurance expert in the firm’s Cape Town office. Heather’s aviation experience spans in 30 African countries. She advises airlines, GA operators, airports, ground handlers, MROs and AMOs, OEMs, financiers, lessors and their respective hull and liability insurers and reinsurers. She also advises insurers and reinsurers directly in relation to coverage and product development. Her insurance expertise spans both advisory work and disputes, and she has litigated in numerous African countries as well as France, the USA and the UK. Heather has an LLB (cum laude) from the University of the Witwatersrand and is the founding member of Aerial Network, GECAS.
