Clement Mkiva is a partner Bowmans’ Johannesburg office Litigation Practice and co-head of the firm’s International Arbitration Service Line. He specialises dispute resolution, including local and transnational litigation, arbitration and mediation. He has assisted clients in a range of sectors with contractual disputes, judicial reviews, damages claims, class actions, shareholder disputes, interdicts/ injunction applications, banking and funding disputes, cross-border securities fraud, insolvency, construction disputes, defamation claims, employee benefits, property-related disputes and mining litigation. He has an LLB from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University and an LLM (International Dispute Settlement) through a joint program of the University of Geneva and the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies. He has also received specialised training in international commercial and investment arbitration and common disputes mechanisms.
